 Supportive Services For Veteran Families (SSVF)  

Since 2013, SSVF has helped 409 veteran families and has awarded $452,699 in temporary financial assistance. 

The SSVF Program aims to improve very low-income Veteran families’ rental housing stability.  The program may provide time-limited payments to third parties (e.g., landlords and vendors) if these payments help the Veteran stay in or acquire permanent housing in the following areas:     

§  Rental Arrears

§  Rent Assistance

§  Security Deposits

§  Moving Expenses

§  Licensed Child Care

§  Emergency Housing Funds

§  Utility Arrears  

  **The SSVF Program cannot help with debts involving mortgage payments.**
