On February 2, 2016 the CIVOC signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Barnstable County Sheriff's Department to provide case management for veterans incarcerated at the Barnstable County House of Corrections, both during their incarceration, and their transition and re-entry into the community.

Anthony Encarnacion is the recipient of the 2nd annual Captain Eric A. Jones Memorial Scholarship. Anthony received $1000 towards his higher education costs for his outstanding academic performance.
Iraq War Veteran Anthony Encarnacion is the second recipient of the Capt Eric A Jones Memorial Scholarship.
Former United States Marine, Elise Edson was the first ever recipient of the scholarship in 2015.
